TEMPLAR-J
Designed to replace some
of the aging classic Assault ‘Mechs in the AFFC, the Templar
is a popular ‘Mech with the forces that oppose Archon Katrina
Steiner in the FedCom civil war.

The Templar-J is the
kind of Mech that pushes basic Omnimech designs to their limits. It is, therefore,
capable of performing in unexpected ways that could take the enemy by surprise.
However, the Templar also suffers from resultant drawbacks. It can only carry
certain weapons, have arms that are a little too low-hung for jump-sniping
ease, and overheats quickly. In the hands of capable pilots, it can be deadly,
but it can also be a death trap, pretty much the same way the forerunner
of the Mad Cat MKII piloted by Black Widow Natasha Kerensky had become a
death trap for her.
